A few answers to common questions

If your order has not arrived by the estimated delivery date we’re here to help but it’s worth checking a few things before getting in touch. Most orders are dispatched from our warehouse within 24 hours, we will email a tracking number to confirm once your order is on its way. All orders are sent standard shipping 5-7 days. However it has been known to take up to 10 days due to the high level of orders we process.

Most promotions apply automatically at checkout. If you have a discount code or coupon it has to be entered in the box which states ‘Coupon code’, enter your promotion code and click the Apply Coupon button.

On occasions we are unable to send all of the items you have ordered. We will send you an email if you are to expect any missing items from your order so please check your mailbox. Some details may also be printed on your despatch note. We will refund any payment taken for items not sent. If you have not received an email from us or if there is no information on your despatch note, please visit our contact us page and we resolve the issue for you as quickly as we can.

Yes tracking numbers are provided with all orders.

No, but creating an account is really simple to do and once your set up you’ll be able to check out faster, save frequent addresses, track your orders and be the first to hear about competitions, offers and discounts.

We haven’t had any customers have any problems yet. The hardware is covered by a 1 year warranty if you have any problems.

For the most part you have very little to worry about. The 3rd party software on our interface updates itself automatically. We often change and make improvements to our Ninja user interface – you can choose to update that if you want.

Extremely easy. Many of our customers are individuals that do not regularly use computers or even smart phones. They all have said our system was easy to navigate and that they had a lot of fun learning how to use our interface.

Yes. Most of our clients have cut their cable or satellite service. And many also had Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts they got rid of too. You can expect savings of around $1000 per year if you cut those expensive subscription services. All you need is an internet connection of 6MBPS or faster.

Yes, this custom media center is perfectly legal. Through it you are simply accessing servers that store and stream all of these movies and television for free. This media center has actually been around October 5th, 2002.

Frequently Asked Questions

While the Ninja Android TV Box does get live streams of all of the Major Network channels they are most likely not from your local area. We suggest getting an antenna that is designed to get local channels through the air.

The Ninja can run one TV at a time. However due to its small size and ease of hooking it up it can be moved from TV to TV very easily.
Tip – If you connect an extra HDMI cord to your second TV you will only need to transfer the Ninja and the power cable to your second TV. This will save you the trouble of moving the HDMI cable each time you want to switch TV’s.

Yes, Multiple Ninja’s can be used at one time off of the same internet connection. Please note that multiple Ninja’s running at the same time will demand a faster internet connection. We recommend 6 Mbps per unit. So for 2 units we would recommend a 12 Mbps internet connection.

Yes you can still continue to use pay services such as Netflix or Hulu. However you will soon find that these services are not needed as you can watch everything that they offer and everything that they do not for free.

No. The laws state that Downloading, Possessing, distributing or profiting from copy written material is illegal. When you are streaming a TV Show or movie you are not downloading it and are never in possession of it. Once the TV Show or Movie is done streaming all of the data from that stream is gone from your unit.

Because the Ninja TV Boxes run on the Android operating system you can do everything you can do on an Android Phone or Tablet. You are able to download any of the over 800,000 Android Applications from the Google Play store. You can surf the web, Watch Youtube videos, Check emails, Play games (We recommend a USB gaming controller) and just about anything else that a normal Android device can do.

The Ninja User Interface is built and maintained by the FreeMedia.Ninja team. We built an interface that allows you to easily surf through the system and watch what you want, when you want. Our goal here was simple, provide as much content with as little hassle possible. We made the system so even our least tech savvy customers can work the system.

Yes. Almost every “fully loaded” android TV box on the market gives you a system that not only doesn’t function properly but also requires that you learn this incredibly in depth system. With our system you don’t have to worry about a thing. You will receive notifications to the user interface when there is an update available. And then using our Ninja Quick Updater – you can simply go and update to the latest version of our interface.

We typically update our Ninja User Interface every week – on Thursday’s. We understand many people want a system that is working flawlessly before the weekend because that is when they are hanging out with family and friends watching sports, TV shows and movies. Keep in mind that your system may be working fine and you are by no means required to update every week. We just want to give you the best system possible.

Yes, every Ninja TV Box is quality tested before it ships out to a customer. We offer a no questions asked 1 year warranty on the hardware of each unit (Physical damage and Water damage caused by the customer is not included in this warranty). As long as you can ship your box to us – we will ship you a new one back for free.

While you are able to download video content onto the hard drive of our products, we do not condone downloading copyrighted material. As everything can be viewed on demand we see no reason to record or download any of the content.

Yes. We recommend an external hard drive that has an external power source. You can also use an SD card of up to 64GB.

Unfortunately XBMC / KODI is not able to block content by rating. However within XBMC / KODI you can set a master password that needs to be entered in order to be able to open certain Genres of content. For example you can place a password on Video content, but leave music content open.

We are working on other interfaces designed only for children that you can download and install.

Absolutely not! All of the content and programs that come preloaded on the Ninja TV Boxes are completely free. We will never ask for monthly fees. Programs like Netflix and Hulu still require a monthly subscription.

There are additional features such as the Live TV feature which gives you 800 high quality channels integrated with the TV guide. This is done through a 3rd party that we have no affiliation with. This service costs about $7 per month.

However there are plenty of solid free live streams you can access. And almost all of our customers do not see the need for live TV because whatever your favorite shows are – you can go and watch them pre-recorded – any season – any episode at your own pace and convenience.

Yes you can truly watch almost any live sporting event from all over the world. While we cannot guarantee that more obscure sports will have every game 99% of every live sporting event in the world is available to be viewed on the Ninja TV Box. While some streams may be in HD, most streams will be broadcast in standard definition (480p). It does not matter what region of the country or the world you are in. None of the live sports are blocked by geographical location.

For example if you are in Florida and want to watch a New York game you can. Even if that game is not being broadcast in your area.

Check your internet speed with www.speedtest.net (Ookla). We recommend a stable internet speed of 6 MBPS or more for the best internet experience. Typically the faster internet connection you have the faster your TV Show, Live Sports and HD Movies will load. However the streams are also dependent on the server in which they are streamed from. Imagine going to a website and there are too many people on that same website at the same time – this will slow down the website, just like it can slow down your stream. If you have under 6 MBPS you should consider upgrading your internet speed. Remember, each Add-Ons is separately managed by a Third Party that is not affiliated with the Ninja Android TV Box or Free Media Ninja Inc. There will be times when these Add-Ons do not operate as they should and you may experience down time or slow rates which could cause buffering. When this does happen, we suggest looking at a new source or Add-On to correct the problem. Another solution may be resetting your router or modem. Or directly connecting your ethernet cable into your Ninja TV Box. Typically though, you need to hit the “stop” button and choose a new source for whatever it is you are trying to stream.

Some stream sources are listed but do not work. This is not typical but it does happen in XBMC / KODI sometimes. Simply try another stream source and most likely it will work. If not simply try stream sources until one works. Remember, each Add-Ons is separately managed by a Third Party that is not affiliated with The Ninja Android TV Box or Free Media Ninja Inc. There will be times when these Add-Ons do not operate as they should and you may experience down time or slow rates which could cause buffering. When this does happen, we suggest looking at a new source or Add-On to correct the problem.

If you require or desire to use XBMC / KODI subtitles on your Ninja TV Box you will need to do the following.

Open XBMC / KODI
Go to System and click on Settings
Click on Video
Click on Subtitles
At the top choose the language you want
At the bottom you can choose the default service for TV and Movie – this is the website where the subtitles are downloaded from

The subtitles are located within the Video Icon at the bottom menu bar when you are watching a stream. Click download subtitles. Then choose which one to download. Then exit out of the menu to view your video.

From the android home screen – Click Settings. Click Display, Click Display Position, Press the Minus and Plus symbols to adjust the display to your TV. Click back/.
